GW:EN Weapon Price Guide (Under Construction)
Similar to what Kobey has done when Nightfall came out, I wanted to create this thread to help people Price Check items drop exclusively in Eye of the North.
So will all the kind people out there please post price of items you have bought or sold in game, I will try to keep this thread updated to the best of my ability. If the moderators on guru can also help me update that will be great. Feel free to correct me if you feel some of the price are not accurate or out dated. I will research and modify accordingly. Please list price in gold and ectos Update: -Added a few more PCs -Added Staff section -Restored the Price Guide, I apologize for the delay and inconveniences. No offense, but I dont think it really makes sense to create a thread like that. Most of the GW:EN skins arent worth mentioning, those are really common and noone pays more than 5-10k for those. You should only keep rare skin weapons (till they are actually rare) and remove the others. But that's just my opinion.

To Aran Dragonblood: I will hold off on putting the price of Arrowblade Daggers just yet because i havent seen any sell in game yet. More pc is required. To Dronte: The reason i put destoyer weapons 100+x ecto is because of the recent hike in price of onyx gem. I will update the price if more people thinks it only worth 100k |

I have sold several r9 savage daggers easily for 30k. Usually after just a few minutes of advertising. Very nice popular skin.
R9 Greater Sage Blade - see consistently in game for like 25-30k. R9 Sephis Sword I'd say 40-50k R9 Greater Guardian Spear - a friend has sold several for 60k and up. R9 Saurian Scythe - still see them hitting in the 100k+ range for those that really want them. R9 Greater Summit Axe - have seen quite a few go for 80-100k. As for Destroyers items, have also seen many in game for as low as 90k. The lower demand ones usually end up in that range, while axes, swords, and shields seem to be 100k and sometimes a few ectos.

To omg pizowned: The price of weapons are always dropping. I will try to keep this thread as up to date as possible, so it will always reflect CURRENT market price. If someone wants to sell or buy the items now, they can use this guide as it will reflect most up to date prices.

Do Saurian Scythe prices have frequent big spikes or drops in the price? I got a PC on a req10 saurian 4 days ago and mods priced it at 15-25k. It sold for 20, couldn't talk anyone into 25-30k for it. Here it's quoted as 60-80k?!
Now that I'm searching manually instead of using the junk search that misses 75% of the matching threads, I find that 6 days ago, req9 saurian was worth 50-70k, 5 days ago a req11 saurian was worth 15-25k. Within the past 7 days, req12 saurian was worth 10k. These prices are drastically lower quotes from mods, not random people throwing out random prices. Now go look at the prices being quoted here in the thread. WTH with the huge variations in price? It makes it hard to get anyone to buy things for a higher price (this thread) if there's PC's floating around for really low prices (everywhere else on price check)! |

As mentioned in Notice, Because Gwen is still pretty new, the price of items can change drastically in a short period of time. I will try my best to update the prices as frequently as possible.
In the case of Saurian Scythe, personally, i don't think it is a rare skin. However, it is a very nice looking skin, which may result people from paying high price to obtain 1 in short period of time. I have seen a few req 9 Saurians sold for 100k+ in high end forum. At the end, more price checks are needed to make this thread accurate. |

To Malice Black: Thanks for the Info so far. The reason why i am doing this is for the public. Most people play this game have no idea whats the new items are worth. I am creating this thread to help them identify whats rare and whats not. I think what kobey have done in nightfall really helped the general public out and i am trying to do the same for Gwen. As i said, i will try to keep this post updated as much as i can, if it ended up dieing like the other stickies then let it be.
In the end, most of us actually play the game and not spending 90% of our online time in Kamadan and Guru buy/sell items. |

Oh ok, I had noticed the prices going lower and lower and assumed that was the general trend. I saw the 100k+e req9 saurians in high-end too and then all the other much lower prices that were more recent, I thought the item was becoming too common and would soon be dirt cheap. Time to be patient and wait for that certain percentage of customers who don't come here and see price checks and will pay lots more than market rate for something that looks cool, I'll hold out for those kinds of customers when selling popular items
Rice, I for one appreciate lists of item prices, with the number of new price check threads created each day and the mostly-broken search (search appears completely gone now with the new site) it's really nice to have one place to check for an estimate of many item prices in one stop. Thank you! Even if it isn't perfect just yet. |

I usually sell stuff for more than what I see TONS of PCs go for on here. ;P Prices are not set in stone, they change, fluctuate, can be dictated by how badly someone wants something - there are tons of factors. Generally it just takes patience. ;P I do ask people for ideas, but generally do my own thing and just wait for the person really wanting it.

Its nice that someone wants to take the time and effort to create a price guide. Although the prices might not be 100% accurate, i believe it does serve as a guideline or a rough guide on how much some items go for. Not everyone trades in this game, and many don't even know whats rare and whats not.
If Rice wishes to devote his time and effort into helping out the community, y not? I applaud Rice for taking this first step and I do hope everyone will lend their support to him. Some of the items i bought: r10 Aureate Blade 40k r10 pyroclastic Axe 100k + 15ectos r11 embersteel blade 140k (few weeks ago) |
